Dr. Johnston is our owner and chiropractor.

Dr. Johnston is from Dyersburg, TN. He attended Freed Hardeman University for his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Biology. He began his pre-med studies there and then gained his doctorate at Logan University.

Dr. Johnston began his career at Lafayette anesthesiology Surgical Hospital MOB for 6 years, where he collaborated with the Anesthesiology and Pain Consultants, specializing in pre and post-surgical pain management.

Dr. Johnston then began his own practice in downtown Carencro in 2014. During this time, he learned how to treat the worst of the worst cases and how to run his own practice.

Since then, he has seen an explosion of growth at Relief Plus.

Dr. Johnston is more of a homebody; he loves staying at home with his beautiful wife and two sons. Dr. Johnston also helps lead worship at his local church!

Dr. Abshire is a native of Carencro. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Soon
after, he attained his doctorate at Texas Chiropractic College.

During his time in Texas, Dr. Abshire was able to appreciate the benefits and positive outcomes that
people could gain from working with the body by working with collegiate athletes, students, and the
general public through clinic rotations.

Prior to graduating, Dr. Abshire had the opportunity to intern with Dr. Johnston and his staff. This
allowed him the chance to work with and eventually find a position here at Relief Plus.

He enjoys his downtime, but also loves a zydeco dance or two. A Cajun first, and a chiropractor second,
Dr. Abshire is extremely pleased to be working near his family and friends right in his hometown!

Caitlin is our chiropractic assistant.

She assists Dr. Johnston with his patients, as well as instructing and training our patients through the rehab process.

Caitlin was born and raised in Lafayette, LA.

She has always been interested in chiropractic and physical therapy and has been with Relief Plus for 2 years.

She enjoys spending time with friends in her free time. Caitlin also has a black belt in karate and can play the flute (often at the same time)!

Britni is our patient coordinator.

Britni is in charge of everything pertaining to our patients: from intake, to answering calls, to billing. She does it all!

Britni was born in San Antonio, TX and was raised in Youngsville, LA. She LOVES paperwork (especially shredding) and enjoys her weekends watching Dr. Who with her husband.

She once broke her teammates leg at soccer practice, but has never broken a bone in her life!

Deanna is our patient care manager.

Deanna assists the whole team by walking all of our patients through every aspect of our treatment process, calling other clinics for treatment referrals, along with assisting patients with questions and scheduling.

Deanna was born and raised in Stratford, Ontario, but moved here to marry her husband, whom she met online while playing video games!
